 The BPL offers regularly scheduled demos, free of charge, to companies and industry individuals interested in learning about Windows Media technologies.
The standard demonstrations available at the BPL cover the entire workflow of content, from creation through end-user consumption. In addition to our standard sessions, the BPL can customize visits based on your specific interests. All demos must be scheduled in advance and are free of charge to sponsoring companies, studio partners, post production facilities, and industry professionals.
Available demonstrations may include:
- Windows Media content creation workflows from acquisition to deliverables
- High Definition and Standard Definition encoding, including accelerated and real time hardware and software solutions
- IP delivery scenarios, including broadcast, satellite, and broadband
- Physical format authoring workflow for WMV HD, HD-DVD, and BD
- Multi-channel audio creation and distribution
- Consumer distribution and consumption scenarios, including home and mobile devices
